The Luís Onofre brand shifted production resources, between March and April, to start providing non-surgical masks to support people in health institutions.
As the COVID-19 pandemic's effects continue to be felt across the world, it was and is every individual and every company's job to do everything we could to mitigate its effects.
Our healthcare workers are fighting this disease in the frontlines. They are taking care of the ill, saving lives, protecting our communities.
This is why, following the example of Vitorino Coelho, we have retooled our production facilities, and produced 400 to 500 non-surgical masks per day, as many as we possibly could to support people in these institutions.
We donated them to hospitals, local health clinics, the Red Cross and nursing homes sheltering, completely free of charge, such as Hospital Famalicão, Hospital Santa Maria da Feira, Centro Dial, Lar Geribranca, Cruz Vermelha, Lar Pinheiro da Bemposta, Lar Pro outeiro.
This crisis affects all of us. We all need to be the helpers. We are committed to doing our part.
